- Waste due to fluctuations: When work processes encounter unforeseen fluctuations, this can lead to the dispersion of resources and time, causing unnecessary waste.
- Waste due to storage: This is the consumption of storage space for documents, goods or data that are not used or needed, resulting in waste of physical resources and space.
- Waste due to movement: When there is a need to move assets, materials or manpower from one place to another without necessity, this can lead to wasted time, energy and transportation costs.
- Waste due to not using capacity properly: When employees or resources are not used properly or are not used optimally, this leads to wasting the potential of their capabilities and skills.
In order to limit waste affecting the budget and operating costs of the business, Ms. Huong said that we need to streamline the cost management processes in the organization.
