Đến năm 2017, anh nên duyên với vị trí CFO (Giám đốc Tài Chính) tại Kim Đức Group – công ty hàng đầu Việt Nam về sản xuất và xuất khẩu túi vải PP dệt và vải không dệt. Sau một năm quản lý, doanh thu tăng 105% và tỷ lệ tăng trưởng kép luôn được duy trì trên 30%. Trong suốt thời gian làm việc tại Kim Đức, anh cùng đội ngũ mở rộng sản xuất với 6 nhà máy mới.
Cho tới năm 2019, anh được giao một nhiệm vụ quan trọng từ Chủ tịch, thành lập chi nhánh mới của công ty tại Campuchia và đảm nhận vai trò Giám đốc tại đó. Ngoài ra anh có tham gia làm giảng viên cho các lớp ACCA, CFO tại SAPP Academy và IABM – Viện kế toán và Quản trị doanh nghiệp.

Như đã chia sẻ ở trên, bắt đầu làm việc tại Kim Đức Group vào năm 2017, cho tới 2021 anh được Ban lãnh đạo công ty đề xuất cơ hội mới – sang mở rộng hoạt động kinh doanh tại Campuchia. Nhận thấy đây là một cơ hội tốt giúp mình phát triển và học hỏi được nhiều, anh đã đồng ý vai trò mới này.

In 2018, Kim Duc was entangled in an investigation by the US Department of Commerce (DOC) applying anti-dumping and subsidy measures to bags and packing bags woven from polyethylene or polypropylene strips, plastic, etc. spikes or similar materials imported from Vietnam. He was appointed as the team leader and worked directly with American lawyers to closely follow the investigation. And in the end Kim Duc won the case.
Qua lần này, anh đã được học thêm nhiều thứ về luật kinh doanh – thuế, kỹ năng đàm phán khi làm việc cùng các luật sư Mỹ.
Ngoài việc cập nhật thông tin kế toán – tài chính mỗi ngày thông quan các tài liệu và thông tin mới nhất thì anh còn tham gia khóa học CFO để nâng cao và phát triển chuyên môn của mình. Anh cũng tham gia giảng dạy các chương trình ACCA, lớp học CFO tại các học viện nữa. Bên cạnh đó, anh cũng dành thời gian tham gia các khóa đào tạo, hội thảo chuyên đề. Tại đây, anh cũng có cơ hội gặp gỡ và kết nối với các CFO khác để cập nhật kiến thức và chia sẻ kinh nghiệm làm việc thực tế.
